Let's Get Started

Welcome to the CGTC LibGuide for Adult Education. We have resources in the library and online to help you achieve your education goals. 

Getting Started:

  1. Identify your need (Example: GED prep, math help, grammar skills)
  2. Choose one of the recommended resources below OR one of the tabs above for more information about books, online resources, and more.

Learning Express Library - Online Practice Tests and Skills Building

Learning Express Library is a fantastic tool for improving your reading, math, English, and writing skills.  Review courses, test preparation, and practice tests are available online for free through the Learning Express Library online.  You can use the review courses and take the practice tests as many times as you would like.  Practice problems are scored immediately.  All information is confidential.  First-time users will need to create a username and password.

To Access Learning Express Library:

  • Go to the CGTC Library homepage
  • Click on the Learning Express lightbulb icon in the lower right corner
  • Browse or search for what you need (Example: GED, fractions, commas)
  • How to Use Learning Express Library
    Instructions on how to use Learning Express Library. Includes pictures and step-by-step instructions on how to create a log in, access tests, and review previous work.
