Searching for Videos
Click a link below to get more information on the two different ways to explore Films On Demand.
If you want to see all the films available for a particular subject (automotive repair, marketing strategies, grammar basics, etc.) or special collection (BBC, PBS News Hours, etc.), try browsing. Starting from the Films On Demand homepage, choose either SUBJECT or SPECIAL COLLECTIONS from the drop down list at the top of the screen.
Once you have picked a main subject or category, you will see a list of available films for that subject area sorted from the newest to oldest. You can browse the whole list or select a subtopic from the menu on the right side of the screen. The picture below shows some topics under Family and Consumer Sciences.
To select a video, you can click on the small video image or the video title (shown in blue boxes in the image below).
If you are looking for a particular title or topic, you may choose to search for films. Starting from the Films On Demand homepage, enter your search terms (film title, keyword, etc.) into the search box as shown in the picture below. When you have typed your search terms into the search box, hit enter or click the red search button beside the search box to run your search.
All films containing your search terms will automatically appear in a list on a new page. To select a video, you can click on the small video image or the video title (shown in blue boxes in the image below).
Once you have found a video you would like to watch, click on the video player to begin. For more information on watching a film, check out the Viewing Tips tab.
