Absolutely! Films On Demand is available to you from any computer with internet access. You will need to know the password to GALILEO to access the database from off campus.
The quality of your viewing experience is dependent upon your internet connection. If you are off-campus, you may need to select a lower quality video option to view the videos. Check out the Viewing Tips tab for more information.
Yes. Most videos have a full transcript available. When you select a video, look in the upper right side of the screen for the TRANSCRIPT tab. Select that tab to view the video transcript. The text of the transcript is interactive and highlight the right text as the video plays.
Yes, the films on Films On Demand can be used as part of a presentation for your CGTC classes. You can access Films On Demand and share a video as part of a presentation from any classroom on campus that has a computer and projector system installed. It is highly recommended that you test the video playback in your classroom prior to your presentation to allow time for troubleshooting any technical issues. Please note: You will not be able to embed the videos into a PowerPoint presentation.
