Why All The Rules?

Does it really matter if your paper looks like my paper?

Yes! While following CSE style guidelines may feel pointless, this formal writing style has many important purposes.

Correct formatting helps you create an organized document that is easy to read (and grade), write a well-supported argument or paper, and avoid plagarism.
