Finding Citation Information

Online Databases: Most online databases accessed through CGTC Library provide citation information for each article already formatted into APA style. See the examples below to find citation information for your recommended databases.  Be sure to review your citations for accuracy in spelling, punctuation, and formatting (line spacing, indentation, etc.).

Library Books: Need to cite a book from the library? Check the full entry in the library catalog for copyright and publication information to complete your cite.

Print Journals: If you are citing an article from one of the print journals available at the CGTC Library, you will need to get information for your works cited page from the journal itself.  See a member of the library staff, if you need any assistance.

Videos: Need to cite a video from the library collection or Films On Demand?  Check out the Films On Demand LibGuide for more information on proper MLA and APA citation formating for videos.  You can also visit any of the Citation Style Guides linked to the left for additional help.

EBSCOhost: Finding Citation Information

To find citation information for any article in EBSCOhost - remember to click on the "Cite" button on the article detail page. Make sure you are using the right edition for your class assignment.

ProQuest: Finding Citation Information

Films On Demand: Citation Information

You will need to include citation information for any video you choose to use as part of your course assignment.  Citation information is available from Films On Demand by clicking on the "Citations" link in the bottom, right-hand corner of the video player.  Films On Demand only provides MLA and Chicago styles.  For other citations styles, like APA, check out the Films On Demand Tutorial for more information.
