Can I use this website for my assignment?

ALWAYS check your assignment or ask your instructor to make sure you are allowed to use internet resources for your class.  Each instructor may have a different policy or guidelines for using the internet to complete your class assignments.

If you can use internet sites, be sure to get the right information!  Anyone can post anything on the internet.  Use the CRAAP Test for Good Research to judge whether information you find online is correct or trustworthy. When in doubt, ask any member of the library staff for help or find a new website to use.

Be sure your are using the correct writing style for your class.

How do I cite my sources?

Most online library resources will provide citation information for a Works Cited page, Reference List or Bibliography.  A link to that information is usually found somewhere on the webpage that displays the article, eBook or video that you have chosen.
