STUDYING FOR THE HEALTH OCCUPATIONS ENTRANCE EXAM

Studying for the Health Occupations Entrance Exam (also known as the PSB or the Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test)? The CGTC Library has several resources for achieving your best score.

The 2009 Health Occupations Entrance Exams book is available to download through the Learning Express Library.  The eBook may be printed or saved as a PDF file.  The book contains information on test format, scoring, test taking tips, and includes several practice exams.  The practice exam questions are different from the Learning Express Library online exams, so you are sure to get plenty of practice!

To Access:  Go to the CGTC Library homepage.  Click on the Learning Express lightbulb icon.  EBooks are now listed alongside the practice exams.   Find the eBooks for the PSB by selecting the "Jobs and Careers" category, then "Nursing and Allied Health", and finally "Entrance Test Preparation".

Practice tests are available to take on the computer through the Learning Express Library.  You can take these practice tests as many times as you would like.  You will receive your scores as soon as you finish.  Your completed practice tests will be available for you to review any time.  First-time users will need to create a username and password.

Visit the Academic Success Center (ASC) on the Macon or Milledgeville Campus for face-to-face tutoring and test-taking workshops! Services are free for currently enrolled CGTC students.
